1. Information we collect

• Name, phone number, and email address you provide when booking, logging in, or contacting us.
• Booking details: dates, apartment, guest count, and payment status.
• Messages you send us through the contact form or the chat assistant.
• Basic technical information (e.g. your currency preference) needed to run the site, stored in cookies described below.

We don't collect or store your card or mobile money details ourselves. Online payments are handled directly by Paystack.

2. How we use it

• To create, confirm, and manage your booking.
• To contact you about a booking (confirmation, reminders, changes) by SMS, email, or phone.
• To respond to inquiries sent through the contact form or chat assistant.
• To let you log in and view your bookings without retyping your details each time.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share only what's needed to run the service, with these processors:

• Paystack: processes online payments and receives what a payment requires (amount, your email, booking reference).
• Techieszon: sends booking SMS notifications on our behalf.
• Resend: sends booking confirmation and reminder emails on our behalf.
• Groq: powers the optional chat assistant; messages you send it are processed to generate a reply, but the assistant never takes payment or creates a booking itself.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our guests, staff, or property.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in (guest or admin login), remember your currency preference, and keep a booking submission from being accidentally duplicated. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data retention

We keep booking records for as long as reasonably needed for customer service, accounting, and legal purposes, and delete or anonymize personal information when it's no longer needed for those purposes.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
